Mission Statement:

          PEACE OUTside CAMPUS, The Lindsey Marie Bonistall Foundation, is dedicated to promoting peaceful and safe living environments in off-campus college communities nationwide. Our goal is to empower students and their families to be more proactive against those who perpetuate crime and violence among student populations outside college campuses. PEACE OUTside CAMPUS reinforces tips on crime prevention, provides facts about violent and property crime, and
circulates local crime statistics and perpetrator profiles and alerts. In addition, we support student
self-defense instruction and offer guidelines for developing neighborhood watch programs. We advocate for the protection of off-campus students by communicating rental rights and working with landlords and local college communities to develop and maintain improved safety measures in student apartments.Recognizing preventative measures do not always ensure crime-free communities, PEACE OUTside CAMPUS also offers emotional support to victims and their families. The problem, as in the case of our Lindsey, does not lie with universities but in the security of off-campus housing and the need for students to continually learn how to protect themselves and their neighbors. Rather than creating a culture of fear, we strive to reinforce a sense of strength, empowerment, awareness, and comfort. Lindsey did not live in fear, and we believe this should be a basic right of all college students and their families.

            PEACE OUTside Campus is not yet legally formed and, as such, we can not accept or solicit donations at this time. We ask all those who would like to donate to hold that thought until we
are a fully formed 501(c)(3) charitable corporation.
